MagGrow are pleased to announce and welcome Rafael Alanis to MagGrow’s Industrial Research and Engineering Support Centre team based in the Agri-EPI Centre (Edgmond, Newport, UK), in collaboration with Harper Adams University, Engineering Department.
Rafael joins us as a research support scientist and will be working on magnetic-assist and other research initiatives. He will also be assisting in the development of the Centre and it’s support activities.
With a first degree in Agricultural engineering and Masters ‘degree in occupational hazard/risk prevention, coupled with several years ‘experience as a research scientist working on spray applications and testing, including earlier experience in Spain in operational posts involving project management, economic and technical supervision, agricultural statistics and design, budgeting and implementation of sprinkler and drip irrigation systems. On entering the UK in 2013, Rafael has gained experience as an Assistant Research Scientist with NIAB UK and more recently as a Research Scientist with the Silsoe Spray Applications Unit. Given this experience, gained in prestigious organizations, we feel confident that Rafael will be a valuable addition to both the company and the newly established Centre for Industrial Research and Engineering Support.
